Europe is a continent comprising the westernmost peninsula of Eurasia, bordering the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the Mediterranean Sea to the south and Asia to the east.

Since the Roman era, the Assassin Brotherhood and Templar Order had a strong presence in Europe. Out of all regions of the Old World, Europe served as the primary housing for both organizations until the Age of Discovery,[1] when they started expanding their influence around the entire globe.[2]
