Al Mualim (English: The Mentor) was the Mentor of the Egyptian Brotherhood of Assassin based in Cairo during the period of the French Revolution.[1]
On 6 August 1794, the Assassin Arno Dorian requested his fellow members of the French Brotherhood to ship an Apple of Eden contained within the Head of Saint Denis, which had been sought by Napoleon Bonaparte, to Cairo for safekeeping by Al Mualim.[1] Al Mualim was ultimately unsuccessful - Napoleon invaded Egypt and Syria in 1798 in order to reclaim the Apple, and having done so, returned to France to seize power in the 18 Brumaire coup.
