Emir (unknown – 2016) was an Assassin and a descendant of the Ottoman Assassin Yusuf Tazim.[1] This was of particular interest to Abstergo Industries, who abducted him to use as a test subject for their new Animus project.

Biography

In 2016, he was held at the Abstergo facility in Madrid alongside other Assassins such as Moussa, Lin, Lara, and Nathan, who he had regular contact with outside their Animus sessions. The group was wary of the newcomer Callum Lynch, a criminal who had no allegiance to the Assassins in spite of being the son of the Assassins Joseph and Mary Lynch. Moussa was responsible for introducing Callum to his friends at the cafeteria.[2]

Towards the end of the year, Emir and his group of Assassins staged a prison break just as Callum, through the Animus, successfully located the Apple of Eden recovered by his ancestor Aguilar de Nerha. During the battle, Emir broke into the security room and unlocked the Animus chamber for his friends, allowing them to enter just in time to see Callum inducted into the Assassin Order through a memory of his mother.[2]

While the other Assassins fought furiously against waves of Abstergo guards in the Animus chamber, Emir was left to fend by himself in the security room. Overwhelmed, he did not live to see his friends successfully escape with Callum.[2]
