The Ealdorman's Overlook was an area with a big tree on top of a cliff in Lincolnscire, England. In 875, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir searched for and found a young lord Hunwald, who ran off to this area. In fact, this area was where Hunwald and his late father, Ealdorman Hundbeorht hunted during Hunwald's youth. Hunwald engraved a short message on the tree and it stated: Hunwald and Swanburrow.[1]
