The Duchesse de Fremiet was a noble and resident of Paris during the French Revolution.

During the revolution, her son was lynched by a lamppost at the Hôtel de Ville by a mob of revolutionaries simply for being among the nobility. She was able to retrieve a necklace from her son's corpse, which she intended to bring with her to be blessed with last rites.

When she encounterd the Assassin Arno Dorian, she requested his assistance in protecting her from angry revolutionaries while she made her way back to safety. Dorian agreed, and successfully fended off numerous attacks from sans-culottes.
