Draugr Hood

The Draugr Hood was a hood that incorporated bones onto the fabric to make the wearer resemble a draugr. So terrifying was the effect, it was said onlookers could see Hel beneath the hood, who to their horror was also looking back.

During the Viking expansion into England, the hood was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[1]
