Trivia
- Though the dome appears golden in Assassin's Creed and is golden today, it was not gilded until 1963. It was actually made out of black lead during the Third Crusade.
- A view point is positioned on top of the roof, as the top of the dome itself is inaccessible.
- Solomon's Temple is under the Dome of the Rock. The entrance is somewhere in the building near the Dome of the Rock.
- The multiplayer map Jerusalem in Assassin's Creed: Revelations takes place near the dome.
