This article is about 5th century BCE commander Diodoros. You may be looking for the philosopher Diodoros.

Diodoros was a commander living in Greece during the 5th century BCE.

Around 430 BCE, Diodoros' demise was plotted by Alkibiades. In order to ensure it, Alkibiades had a cast of his own penis sent to Bardas at the Akrokorinth Fort, but stressed the importance of telling it was from Diodoros to the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who worked as his courier. The cast had been engraved with directions to Bardas to give it to his wife Thelia, for "when she starts to miss me."[1]

Enraged, Bardas swore to destroy Diodoros' men and his ship.[1]
