The Shunzhi Emperor (1638 – 1661), born Aisin-Gioro hala-i Fulin, was the third emperor of the Qing dynasty and the first Qing emperor to rule over China, from 8 October 1644 until his death.[1]
In 2012, the Shunzi Emperor was included in one of the Glyphs, "Instruments of Power", the late Clay Kaczmarek placed within the Animus as messages for fellow Assassin Desmond Miles to decipher. The particular puzzle in question concerned the Staves of Eden, with the Shunzhi Emperor excluded from being counted among the historical individuals who had one in possession.[2]
