Den Defense was the name given to the defending of an Assassin Den against a Templar assault. Occasionaly, the Byzantine Templar soldiers would launch an attack against an Assassin Den, aiming to conquer the Assassin controlled area.

Defending a den involved spending morale wisley to place Assassins on rooftops, or have them set up barricades in the streets. To place units on the rooftops, there had to be an Assassin leader first.
