Darius (Persian:داریوش) was a male Persian Assassin living during the reign of King Xerxes of Persia.
Biography
Darius was a member of the Persian Assassins' Guild. In 465 BC, he successfully assassinated Xerxes I with a newly invented hidden blade.
Trivia
- Darius was the first known user of the hidden blade.
- Darius had all ten fingers, as seen on the picture on the right. Whether this is artistic license or oversight is unknown.
- Unlike most other Assassins, Darius had his hidden blade on his right arm.
- His body lies within the catacombs of the Santa Maria Novella.
