Le Cour des Miracles (English: Court of Miracles) was one of the poorest, most dangerous slums in Paris by the late 18th century.

During this time, the Court was controlled by the Roi des Thunes - the King of Beggars - until his death at the hands of an Assassin named Arno Dorian. Following this, the Court fell under the control of the Marquis de Sade, who provided occasional assistance to the Assassins when required.
