Copper is a naturally occurring metal with a reddish-orange hue, which is used by itself in numerous ways, or as part of alloys, such as bronze.

History

In the 15th and 16th centuries, the Spanish Brotherhood of Assassins utilized the metal to forge a number of weapons and armors for use against the Spanish Templars.[1]

Behind the scenes

The metal was named after the island of Cyprus, where it was first mined: what began as Aes cyprium (metal of Cyprus) later corrupted into various forms, including the English copper.
