Constantius II (Latin: Flavius Julius Constantius Augustus; 7 August 317 – 3 November 361), born Flavius Julius Constantius, was Roman Emperor from 337 to his death.
In 357, Constantius pilfered an Egyptian obelisk and had it taken to Alexandria in celebration of his 20th year as sovereign.[1]
