Behind the Scenes[edit | edit source]
The Common Flintlock Pistols are based on the Hawken pistols.[2] However, its appearance in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is anachronistic as the Hawken brothers were active in the early 19th century,[3] furthermore the pistol clearly has a 19th century percussion lock.
