Claudio was a member of the Roman Thieves Guild during the Renaissance.
In 1500, Claudio and his father Trimalchio were sent with two other Thieves to spy on Niccolò Machiavelli. However, Claudio was attacked by Borgia crossbowmen and could not escape, he had been hurt (being shot by a guard). La Volpe (the Guild leader) and Ezio Auditore da Firenze came to his aid. Ezio Auditore da Firenze then took Claudio through the crowds of people to blend ( and La Volpe was after Niccolò Machiavelli once again) trying to keep cover from the gaurds which were now on high alert. Claudio was safely returned to his father.[1][2]
