The Citadel of Salah Al'Din, also known as the Citadel of Damascus, was a fortress in the northern Rich District of Damascus that served as the residence of Saladin, commander of the Muslim armies during the Third Crusade, from 1176 to 1193.

In 1191, one of the main outer walls of the citadel was partially destroyed, possibly due to fortifications Saladin was making at the time.
