Ezio successfully assassinated Checco Orsi, but was stabbed by him, before losing consciousness from the stab wound, Ezio witnessed a monk with a missing finger steal the Apple. Ezio was later found by one of Caterina's men, next to Checco Orsi's dead body, afterwards Ezio was taken into care until he could regain consciousness. | |||

Checcomate is a memory in the Battle of Forlì downloadable content pack for Assassin's Creed II.
Description
While Ezio was out rescueing Caterina Sforza's children, the Templars attacked the Rocca di Ravaldino again. Checco Orsi was succesful in retrieving the Apple. Ezio then set out to kill Checco and retrieve the Apple.
Outcome
Ezio successfully assassinated Checco Orsi, but was stabbed by him, before losing consciousness from the stab wound, Ezio witnessed a monk with a missing finger steal the Apple. Ezio was later found by one of Caterina's men, next to Checco Orsi's dead body, afterwards Ezio was taken into care until he could regain consciousness.
