Charlie Oliver, also known under the self-given moniker Charlie the Great, was a young man that ran away from his parents at the age of ten. Hiding in a barrel of apples aboard a ship, he was taken to America, where he eventually met the Comte de Marigot. Unsure what to do with the lad, de Marigot introduced him to the Templars.

In 2013, his genetic memories were used as an Animi Avatar by the entertainment branch of the Templar company Abstergo Industries, to influence the general public via the Animus game console, under the title of the Stowaway.
