Charles de la Motte was a member of the Templar Order, and a Frenchman.[1]
In 1503, he entered in a contest with fellow Templar Cesare Borgia's men, trying to prove France's superiority. The contest was sabotaged by the Assassins, causing the French to lose and form some sort of rivalry between the French and Italian Templars.[1]
Charles and his men later returned to Rome, trying to take out some of the Assassins. However, Charles' men were killed by the Assassins, though Charles' own fate is unknown.[1]
