Charles II (1630 - 1685) was king of Scotland, England and Ireland between 1660 and 1685, and succeeded the republican government of Oliver Cromwell. He appears prominently in the Ghosts of Christmas Past chapter of Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy as he fights against the Roundhead forces of Cromwell to try and take back his throne.
