The Champion's Gymnasium was an ancient gymnasium in Thasos City on the Greek island of the same name.

History

In classical antiquity, the gym served as the training venue for Thasian athletes, the most famous being Theagenes who was known for his legendary strength and won in every boxing and Pankration events at every Panhellenic Games he took part in.

During the Peloponnesian War, the gym was visited by the misthios Kassandra.[1]
