Adolf Hitler was the leader of the Nazi faction during World War II. After rising to power through democratic persuasion, Hitler passed a series of reforms to create a dictatorship for himself, and a few other elites, to run. Hitler furthermore created an ultra-nationalist policy for Germany, leading to the uprising of World War 2, and is therefore regarded by many as a large contributing factor to World War 2. During the invasion of Berlin, Hitler allegedly committed suicide in his bunker, after which the Nazi party fell apart, due to the 'Allies' invasion.

In the Assassin's Creed Universe, he was a member of the Knights Templar. He was assassinated by assassins when he was fleeing from his bunker. Although it is hinted that it may have been a body double who was killed (per Subject 16's glyphs)
