Adolf Hitler was the leader of the Nazi faction during World War II. He is also the one who caused the war, by gaining control of Germany and attacking other countries and conquering them. Eventually, he supposedly committed suicide, after which the nazi's soon fell apart.
In the Assassin's Creed Universe, he was a member of the Knights Templar. He was assassinated by assassins when he was fleeing from his bunker. Although it is hinted that it may have been a body double who was killed (per Subject 16's glyphs)
