Cedarwood is wood harvested from several different trees known as cedars that grow in different parts of the world, and may have different uses.
History
During the 1st century in Ptolemaic Kingdom, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa used cedarwood to upgrade his equipment and craft arrows. He sent his eagle companion Senu to scout for cedarwood shipments from Roman soldiers and ambush them.[1]
Behind the Scenes
The wood used in Ancient Egypt was Lebanon cedar (Cedrus libani), it had to be imported from Phoenicia (modern Lebanon).[2]
