Castillo de Jagua

Castillo de Jagua was a Spanish fort located on the southern shore of Cuba, in the Caribbean. It was one of the ten forts captured by the pirate Edward Kenway and his crew during the early 18th century.

After the fort's capture, a harbormaster's station was built by the docks, and two naval contracts were offered to Kenway by a representative of the Dutch trader Milo van der Graaff.

Trivia

  • The fort takes its name from the nearby port of Jagua, Cuba, and literally translates to "Jagua Castle".
