Budhhism is a religion which originated in India that is based on the teachings of Siddhārtha Gautama, a purported Isu better known to humanity as the Buddha. Over time, Buddhism spread across much of Asia via the Silk Road, becoming a prominent faith in numerous countries such as China and Japan.[1]
