Brokkr's Pride was a battleaxe named for the dwarf blacksmith Brokkr of Norse mythology.
In the late 9th century, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan bought this bearded axe from Hildiran, an old woman who'd moved to Ravensthorpe after a meteor uncovered the entrance to Freyja's Cave.[1]
