Brennus or Brennos was a chieftain of the Senones. Leading an army of Cisalpine Gauls in 387 BCE, Brennus sacked the city of Rome and occupied it for months, before leaving after a ransom was paid. In 2012, Abstergo Industries added a mnemonic set to Project Legacy themed around many different "Sacks of Rome" and added Brennus to it to represent the 410 event, despite his being long dead at that point and therefore impossible for him to have participated in it.[1]
