Bonfire of the Vanities is the latter of two downloadable contents announced by Ubisoft, and is planned to be released on February 18, 2010. The DLC with the 3 templar locations will cost 520 MS/€6.99 and the DLC without will cost 320 MS/€3.99. The DLC will open up the southern quarter of Florence previously sealed off and revolves around the monk Savonarola, who is controlling the city in absence of the Medici. Using the Piece of Eden; which he stole from a critically wounded Ezio Auditore after his confrontation with Checco Orsi, Savonarola was able to control the city’s nine most influential citizens, and use them for his own means.
