Bludgeon Mace

The Bludgeon Mace was a type of mace used in ancient Greece during the 5th century BCE. It was simple and slow, but did its duty.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this mace in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1] This mace was also the preferred weapon of Polyphemos, a man living on the island of Anaphi.[2]
