Bishop is a member of the Assassin Order. She contacted an individual and tasked them to relive the memories of Arno Dorian in order to find the Sage operating during the French Revolution. [1]

Once the Initiate accepted, Bishop transmitted footage of Abstergo Industries' Phoenix Project, explaining that the Templars are searching for Sages both in the present and the past to map the Precursor genome.
