Hamza Belkacem was a Templar agent who was based in Morocco.

Biography[edit | edit source]

At some point, Belkacem and fellow operative Idrissi were sent to Marrakech to locate and apprehend Joel Eastman, the son of Assassin Geoff Eastman. The two tracked down Joel at the Jemaa el-Fnaa and spotted him passing a message to a stall owner named Chafiq Elharar. As they approached to apprehend Joel, the young man immediately fled, causing Belkacem to pursue him and ordering Idrissi to apprehend the stall owner. Idrissi ignored his orders and instead joined Belkacem in pursuing the man through the market, but the two soon lost sight of their target. Shortly after splitting up, Belkacem was alerted to the call of Idrissi, who found Joel but disarmed and shot with his own gun by their target. Unable to risk firing at the crowd, Belkacem stopped his pursuit of Joel and tended to his fellow operative until the paramedics arrived to assist.[1]

Belkacem then returned to Elharar's stall to arrest him but found he had already fled the area. After a team of operatives failed to find Elharar at his home, Belkacem wrote a report detailing the operation to his superiors.[1]
