The Bear Den was a cave in the Erymanthos Peaks in Achaia, Greece. Found just southeast of the House of the Phoenician, this animal den was inhabited by several bears.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place and killed the bears.[1]
