The Battleground of Obsidian Islands was the site of a naval battle off the coast of Melos, Greece during the Peloponnesian War. There, the Spartan misthios Kassandra, fighting on the side of the Delian League, engaged the Peloponnesian fleet to lure out Sokos, a member the Cult of Kosmos who had declared himself "Protector of the Obsidian Islands". Sokos fell for the bait, and her perished with his ship in the battle.[1]
