The Battlefield of Kadesh was a site in Heb Sed, an aspect of the Egyptian afterlife inhabited by the spirit of pharaoh Ramesses II. It was a recreation of the famous Battle of Kadesh fought by the pharaoh against the Hittites Empire in 1274 BCE.
In 38 BCE, the site was visited by the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa during his journey to put the spirit of Ramesses to rest. Approaching a throne near the site, he summoned Ramesses by placing two of his "eyes" as an offering before defeating him.[1]
