Description
When Ezio returns to Paola, she says that he needs to have an appropriate weapon to use against his enemies. She then shows him his broken hidden blade, and tells him to visit Leonardo da Vinci in order to have it repaired.
After Ezio reaches Leonardo's workshop, Leonardo claims that he can't fix the weapon without the original plans; however he then finds them hidden inside the blade's bracer. With the blade fixed, Leonardo jokingly claims that Ezio's ring finger must be removed, to which the Assassin reluctantly agrees. But as Leonardo brings down the knife, he deliberately misses Ezio's finger, assuring him that the weapon's design had been modified, and that he could keep his finger.
At this point, a guard suddenly arrives at Leonardo's door and leads him outside, questioning him about Ezio's whereabouts. After Leonardo claims not to know him, the soldier starts to beat him. Ezio then assassinates the guard with his hidden blade, and carries the body into Leonardo's workshop. The two then say their farewells.
