Must've not been a very good 720p then. I've seen it and it's even clearer it's the same cross as the [[Templar]]'s emblem, not a "thing that holds a bracer". At that frame, and only that frame, the cross becomes so clear and bigger as if the creators edited the frame itself just to say "Hey here's a clue". But still, just because he's a Templar doesn't mean he did poison him... That's still up for subjective interpretation.
