Maybe if the series was in cryogenics for 20 years, it would make sense, but right now is downright asinine.
And if you're to bring up that "it would be a great entry point for other people" then perhaps I should bring up the Ezio Trilogy, or the Heritage Collection, or the Anthology. You know, the compilations that have more content and give you more story instead of a remake of a single game.
And let's not forget, ACII was released 2009, which was only 5 years ago. So unless you happen to be a dog, or a Hollywood Executive, then remaking ACII is just a waste.
