That's what I had thought as well. All things considered, the Mayans/Mayan prophecies are bound to be a part of the storyline at some point. Perhaps the Mayans had some sort of contact with TWCB at some point, and they foresaw the impending doom that is to come. On another note, I had read somewhere once that, by rumor, after the real-world Knights Templar were dissolved, a few surviving members may have gone to South America. This is all speculation of course...I cant wait to see whats in store!
