The Bannermen's Spear was a spear used by standard bearers, for both displaying their allegiance and defending themselves.

During the Viking expansion into England, the long weapon was made available to the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[1]
