The Band of Dusk

The Band of Dusk was a belt that was part of a set of armor in the 5th century BCE Greece. Made to be as concealing as possible, the metal of the belt was dull, and the beads adorning it made no sound, whereas the large, round buckle bore the image of a sickle Moon in hopes of avoiding revealing lights.

Inspired by the dusk and nightfall, the belt was made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra through an Animus modification by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved her memories.[1]
