To paraphrase the lass from Batman Begins: "It's not who you are, but what you do that defines you." Ubisoft can keep saying "oh, it's not about British v. American" (or Loyalist v. Colonial) all they like, until they show a video where Connor kills a damn Continental soldier, peoples are going to see this game as being a piece of American propaganda. Especially when they make stupid arse decisions like displaying the American flag when the voice over is going on about "the future of freedom" or some crap like that.
