Greetings from Russia, lol. Draco from Rokky, Singularity game, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell games, Syphon Filter, not to mention CoD games. We are being portrayed as evil guys in almost every modern game, and you know what? Nobody cares. Because it is a game. And speaking of AC3, it is a historical game. You can`t change the fact that american revolution took place and american colonists killed british people.
As you said, nobody cared when italian assassin killed italians, or turkish. And then-bam-english!Oh my god! No, we can`t be portrayed as bad guys.
Sorry for bad language, it is late in Russia. But please, try understand that this is a game and nothing else.
