Good point about the arrows. I have no idea though, maybe he does it so fast the arrows stay in, or they may be tightly placed in the quiver or he could use animal hide glue which acts as a mild adhesive stabilizer that remains soft and mallable. I prefer the more logical answer though and that is space magic, everything makes sense with space magic.
