(never been a fan of the term freedom fighter since its used alot by terorist factions, george carlin said it best, if crime fighters fight crime and fire fighters fight fire, what do freedom fighters fight?') connor has his own beliefs and a strong sense of morals, he appears to have joined the assassins as a way of fighting injustice, the assassins gave him the skills needed to do this.
