But no forests. There were small clusters of trees(where bandits were hiding) but you can't go into them meaning you can't land your parachute in a forest. For the first time you can go into forests full of trees, I doubt parachutes are useful. I have watched WWII movies and they land only in open areas so as not to get tangled up in branches or get skewered by a tree. Besides this is ACIII it will have something to replace the parachute and aid you to land on the ground after a fall. But mainly the only places to use one is while on top of a mountain.
