I think it is a coincidence. Guys, there is so many paintings of people holding a sphere. And about Ubisoft being a templar organisation: Why dont you keep focus en the game? Most historians says they all died in 1307. Some historians says, the escaped to Scotland, but it can't be proved, so don't rely on that.
