Interesting... few years ago there was a poll about the same question and one of the possible choices was Victorian London. The funny thing was that I chose that, I always wanted to see a proper video game depiction of the Victorian era... aaaaand we got Syndicate hahaha. Now I would say WWII, hands down. WWII never gets old and the existence of the WWII comics gives me hopes.
