Interesting... few years ago there was a poll about the same question and one of the possible choices was Victorian London. The funny thing was that I chose that, I always wanted to see a proper video game depiction of the Victorian era... aaaaand we got Syndicate hahaha. Now I would say WWII, hands down. WWII never gets old and the existence of the WWII comics gives me hopes. Just imagine, the WWII setting gives limitless possibilities, this could be the first AC game to give a truly global experience, just imagine climbing the Chrysler Building or the ruins of Stalingrad or Nazi Berlin or Tokyo... all in one game.
