Trivia
*The original concept of the Colonial Assassin Outfit was quite similar to Connor's default attire, with a cloak and the outfit's primary color being some of the notable differences.
*Ratonhnhaké:ton's robes always appear in their default color during cutscenes, even if the outfit is sporting a colony's dye; the fact that the lower trim of the outfit would show its dyed color instead indicates that this is an unintentional programming error. In a Q&A session, Ubisoft stated that the problem was deep within the AnvilNext engine, and that rectifying it would be too difficult given the fact that the game had been finished. Non-default outfits would show properly during cutscenes however. This issue has been fixed in most versions of the remaster, with the exception of the Nintendo Switch port.
*The original concept of the Captain of the Aquila Outfit had Connor with the tricorn hat above his hood.
*Due to a bug in the original game's release, if any main memory missions during sequences 4 and 5 with the exception of Hide and Seek were replayed after obtaining the Assassin outfit, Ratonhnhaké:ton's character model will erroneously use his adult self despite being a teenager during those memories. This is rectified in the remaster, where Ratonhnhaké:ton will correctly appear as his teenager self when replaying those memory sequences.

*Unlike the bow, the quiver that contains Ratonhnhaké:ton's arrows did not show on any other outfit other than his Assassin robes. However, during the interactive Animus loading screens, the quiver would be present. In the remaster, the quiver will now show for every outfit including his captain attire.
*Ezio's robes lack a bracer on the right arm despite the Hidden Blade extending from the outfit's sleeve.

*The original concept of the Captain of the Aquila outfit has Ratonhnhaké:ton with its tricorn hat above his hood.
*Achilles' original outfit was previously owned by the Assassin John de la Tour, who then passed it down to Achilles. During a floating conversation between Connor and Achilles about de la Tour's robes, Achilles described it as "armor", although it never provided protection nor any additional gameplay changes.
*The Captain of the Aquila and Captain Kidd outfits showed double holsters for flintlock pistols. However, Ratonhnhaké:ton could not use them if the double holsters hadn't been crafted through the accounting book at the Davenport Homestead or general stores.
*When Connor wears the Colonial Assassin, the Captain Kidd, or the Captain of the Aquila outfit, he attempts to pull up his hood, even though he is wearing a hat.
*Altaïr's robes appear the same as in Assassin's Creed: Revelations, rather than as seen in the previous installments. The robes' trims also lack physics and moves along with Connor's legs, rather than flowing freely during movement. The fingerless gloves were not present when Connor equipped the robes.
*Equipping the Kanien'kehá:ka outfit during Sequence 5 caused Ratonhnhaké:ton's facial structure to change, with hair tied into a ponytail and complexion of his adult self. Two Hidden Blades were also visible on the outfit, but not usable until the River Rescue memory. This is no longer the case in the remaster.
*If an outfit other than the Assassin outfit is worn while playing Sequence 11 to 12 during the cinematics in which Connor has his hood down, he appears to have a buzz cut, as opposed to the Mohawk that he would have while wearing the Assassin outfit.
*Strangely in the remaster, Arno Dorian's robes are based on an alternate outfit in Assassin's Creed: Unity (Arno's Fearless Outfit) instead of his default robes. This contrasts towards all other Legacy outfits of other protagonists throughout the Assassin's Creed series, which are often based on their default outfit.
*Despite Kassandra being considered the canon protagonist in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, the legacy outfit pertaining to said game in the remaster is attributed to her brother Alexios (the non-canon protagonist) instead.

What if this was all a construction? A masterfully crafted simulation?
This article references the Assassin's Creed series in a real-world context, is written in the present tense, or is partly written in terms of gameplay. To maintain clear perspectives, revise the relevant section(s) so that out-of-universe content is in a "Behind the scenes" and the body adopts an in-universe past tense.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

 • Ratonhnhaké:ton's robes always appear in their default color during cutscenes, even if the outfit is sporting a colony's dye; the fact that the lower trim of the outfit would show its dyed color instead indicates that this is an unintentional programming error.
 • Due to a bug in the original game's release, if any main memory missions during sequences 4 and 5 with the exception of Hide and Seek were replayed after obtaining the Assassin outfit, Ratonhnhaké:ton's character model will erroneously use his adult self despite being a teenager during those memories. This is rectified in the remaster, where Ratonhnhaké:ton will correctly appear as his teenager self when replaying those memory sequences.
 • Unlike the bow, the quiver that contains Ratonhnhaké:ton's arrows did not show on any other outfit other than his Assassin robes. However, during the interactive Animus loading screens, the quiver would be present. In the remaster, the quiver will now show for every outfit including his captain attire.
 • Ezio's robes lack a bracer on the right arm despite the Hidden Blade extending from the outfit's sleeve.
 • The original concept of the Colonial Assassin outfit was quite similar to Ratonhnhaké:ton's default attire, with a cloak and the outfit's primary color displaying some of the notable differences.
 • The original concept of the Captain of the Aquila outfit has Ratonhnhaké:ton with its tricorn hat above his hood.
 • Achilles' original outfit was previously owned by the Assassin John de la Tour, who then passed it down to Achilles. During a floating conversation between Connor and Achilles about de la Tour's robes, Achilles described it as "armor", although it never provided protection nor any additional gameplay changes.
 • The Captain of the Aquila and Captain Kidd outfits showed double holsters for flintlock pistols. However, Ratonhnhaké:ton could not use them if the double holsters hadn't been crafted through the accounting book at the Davenport Homestead or general stores.
 • When Connor wears the Colonial Assassin, the Captain Kidd, or the Captain of the Aquila outfit, he attempts to pull up his hood, even though he is wearing a hat.
 • Altaïr's robes appear the same as in Assassin's Creed: Revelations, rather than as seen in the previous installments. The robes' trims also lack physics and moves along with Connor's legs, rather than flowing freely during movement. The fingerless gloves were not present when Connor equipped the robes.
 • Equipping the Kanien'kehá:ka outfit during Sequence 5 caused Ratonhnhaké:ton's facial structure to change, with hair tied into a ponytail and complexion of his adult self. Two Hidden Blades were also visible on the outfit, but not usable until the River Rescue memory. This is no longer the case in the remaster.
 • If an outfit other than the Assassin outfit is worn while playing Sequence 11 to 12 during the cinematics in which Connor has his hood down, he appears to have a buzz cut, as opposed to the Mohawk that he would have while wearing the Assassin outfit.
 • Strangely in the remaster, Arno Dorian's robes are based on an alternate outfit in Assassin's Creed: Unity (Arno's Fearless Outfit) instead of his default robes. This contrasts towards all other Legacy outfits of other protagonists throughout the Assassin's Creed series, which are often based on their default outfit.
 • Despite Kassandra being considered the canon protagonist in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, the legacy outfit pertaining to said game in the remaster is attributed to her brother Alexios (the non-canon protagonist) instead.
